2/14/2010 – Parks & Recreation – Winter Festival:

Join in the fun at the Alton Bay Winter Festival.
Parks and Recreation is sponsoring the following free events for all ages:
1:30pm- Scavenger Hunt;
2:45pm- Parade of Beds;
3:00pm- Great Alton Bay Bed Race- Co-Sponosred by Meredith Village Savings Bank, cash prize to 1st place and prizes to 2nd and 3rd place. All entrants receive a prize.

I agree!! I know someone that spent last night and tonight sleeping in their ice shack. I understand they have heat etc… but still too cold for me. I love my king size bed way too much. That is what you call dedication to the sport!
